Its Saaatttuuurrrdddaaaaayyy Night

I am back to the Blog. Well, what has happened in the world of me and, well the world. Dom Dimaggio and Chuck Daley died in the world of sports. Dom was in his early 90s and believe it or not, Daley, the firey coach of the Pistons in the 80s and 90s was 78. They had some rough and tumble teams, Rodman, Laimbeer, Dumars. Hawks are gonna lose tonight, watching it now, sweep in four if they do not win this one.

Obama is talking about cracking down on the credit card companies. Good, he should. There fees can come down and many of their business practices need to be curtailed and changed.

Good meeting with CFO (wifey - Christine) about some things at the office. We need to have two websites, offer our clients to log into their account at our website and pull files, tax returns, etc. Just like you log into your bank website several times a day, login to your page on our website for lots of useful info. Went to GoDaddy (of the SuperBowl commercial with the girls with the big tatas), and reserved cpakurt.com and 401knorthpoint.com. Lots better than npfkascpa.com.

Busy Tuesday

Doing this blog thing every other day, which is OK. Temp is working out very well, although we talked to a lady from Craigslist that seems promising. We will decide what to do on Friday. Got a new client today, guy from Chicago, found us from the web. Also met with a neighbor from the hood about branding me, changing our website, pushing some business to our website. Sounds interesting, some great ideas with video and such. Just have to talk to Christine about it. Costs money, but I think we can generate some business from the web. We already have, some big clients, without even trying hardly. Really need two separate websites.

Played poker tonight, lost some, but it was fun. Dom DeLuise died. Funny guy, always remember him with Burt Reynolds and was always a guest star in the 70s and 80s on some show.

Please, please, please, Brett Favre, lets not have the Summer of Favre again, do not play for the Viqueens, I repeat, do not play for the Viqueens.

Fantasy team sucked this past week, last in both leagues. Not good. Hawks lost tonight, am trying to get to at least one game, I think Cleveland is too much. And Dave Bing, the old Detroit Piston, Detroit Mayor, whats up with that. Then again, Detroit can use all the help it can get, why not an ex athlete.

Business Tip:
Make networking with others in your field a priority. Schedule some time to meet for coffee or lunch or keep in touch via email and social networks, like Facebook and Twitter.

Hawks Win

Hawks win today, first time they have won a seven game series since 1970. Now its Cleveland and LeBron. Goodbye Hawks, but lets make it go seven. Watched the Kentucky Derby, love the final call - and boy did the winner come out of nowhere on the inside like that, was watching it with Gracie and we were both yelling, Go, Go, Go - reminded me of a Packer game.

Visited with the old Green Bay Packer - Dave Roller at a Lowes in Johns Creek. Kinda neat. He was very appreciative that I brought stuff for him to sign and liked this book I brought where he was quoted a couple of times in relation to a game where he was kicked out for hitting Fran Tarkenton in the back. I remember that game and I remember Dave Roller. He was a very nice guy - am going to go back to take him to lunch and just listen to him talk about football and playing in Green Bay. He knows some other older Packers that live in the area, David Whitehurst, Mike McCoy, Majic Man. Maybe I can meet them as well.

Went to the Braves game today. Had great seats right behind the Astros bench. Braves lost, but day baseball is awesome. Also, sorry to hear about Jack Kemp's death. He was a hell of a quarterback with Buffalo mostly of the old AFL, then politics. Never achieved his dream - the White House, but a great man. Died too early of cancer.

Work tomorrow, Doctor tomorrow, new temp tomorrow, lets hope I dont go to the Doctor because of the new Temp. Later folks
